Intelligent power-cloth top stylistically reinterprets the past as a contemporary solution to the famous canvas roof on the original Cinquecento.  The new 2012 FIAT 500c features a premium dual-layer power-operated cloth top that is designed to deliver all-season driving pleasure with the top up or down.  Directly inspired from the historic Cinquecento, the FIAT 500c features a wide glass back light to retain the same visibility as the hatchback, while its rounded corners are a direct inspiration from the historic model.

FIAT 500c Intelligent power-cloth top operation at the push of a button.  The FIAT 500c's power-operated cloth top retracts up to the rear spoiler during speeds up to 60 mph (a midway point can be chosen by pressing the button anytime between).  Press the roof button again, and the roof will neatly fold all the way open and tuck neatly behind the rear head restraints (up to 50 mph). 

The power-cloth top is also intelligent.  When the lift gate is opened for truck access, the power-operated cloth top automatically retracts back to the rear-spoiler position to avoid any obstruction.

Bob-Boyd FIAT of Columbus - Almost there!

Bob-Boyd FIAT in Columbus, OH has been working endlessly for the past 3 months, to help bring the re-launch of the FIAT Brand to North America.  Weekends no longer exist.  Days off, never heard of them.  Construction workers have been cranking out our new FIAT Studio from dusk till dawn.  As we approach the last days of March 2011; the final stages, we greatly appreciate your patience. 

Here are the steps that still need to occur before we can deliver your new 2012 FIAT 500:

1. Final construction, finishing, furniture.
2. Friday March 25th - Building Inspector arrives.
3. Tuesday March 29th - The State of Ohio comes out to inspect for our dealer license.

Along with these 3 critical steps, we also require our computer systems set-up.  We are doing everything we can to expedite our completion.  Your patience and understanding has been greatly appreciated.  Your new 2012 FIAT 500 is almost here, and like you, WE CAN'T WAIT!!!

Now for the fun stuff.  This morning a truck driver called me to say he was on his way to Columbus, OH with a load of 2012 FIAT 500's.  I quickly realized my Tuesday day off was over and rushed in to see history in the making.
